Shaab El Erg is home to a spectacular variety of moray eels. Divers can observe the napoleon wrasse, blue spotted rays, scorpionfish and crocodilefish. The horse-shoe shaped reef harbours various dive sites with Gota Shaab El Erg being the favourite. In the tunnel between the main reef and Gota Shaab El Erg features stunning hard coral not to be missed.
Shaab Claudio
The great thing about Shaab Claudio is that it is known for its amazing caves at 7m depth. The caves have holes to the surface everywhere, which means they aren’t dark or scary at all.
Abu Dubbab
The short site of Abu Dubbab is popular with divers and non-divers due to the colourful snorkelling and shallow diving. You will see sea turtles through the seagrass meadows and there is also chance you will come face to face with a guitar shark and the very rare and endangered dugong.
