Resort

Morzine is a beautiful Alpine resort surrounded by towering mountain peaks, pine forests and serene lakes. There are endless footpaths and trails for excellent walking or mountain bike opportunities as well as rafting, horse riding and climbing. Nearby is the large Aquariaz thermal swimming and leisure complex; a cheese dairy, skateboard park, horse riding, white water rafting and fishing.

The man-made mountain bike trails offer a wide variety of downhill riding for beginners through to expert riders. There are lots of fire roads and dirt tracks which are suitable for novices aiming to gain confidence riding a mountain bike off road. In Morzine, mountain bike trails are graded in the same way as ski pistes: green (very easy); blue (easy); red (difficult); and black (very difficult).
